The C.A.L.I. Project
Our Mission: is committed to housing as a basic human right and we are devoted to the development of affordable housing for low to moderate income families.
Our Goal: is to establish a network of 100 units by the end of 2026, that offer solace and stability, while contributing to a more compassionate and inclusive society where every individual has the chance to thrive and fulfill their potential
Our Vision: is for everyone to have a safe, quality, and affordable housing solution, to address the housing need and stabilize our community.
WHY THIS WORKS
- We are based on the concept of housing first, which means that an individual’s first and primary need is to obtain stable housing, and that the other issues that may support the household will be addressed once housing is obtained
- Housing is provided first, and then supportive services are provided including physical and mental health, education, employment, substance abuse and community connections
- We rely heavily on layers of collaborative support networks that address issues such as healthcare, education, family, children, employment & social welfare

C.A.L.I. Place ~ Housing First model:
At C.A.L.I.’s Place, finding the appropriate housing solution for an individual, is never complex for us. We have designed multiple efficient models to address the need for transitional housing situations. We prioritize housing as a human right, ensuring that individuals experiencing unfortunate circumstances can access stable housing without preconditions while connecting them to supportive services that promote long-term wellness, independence and community integration
C.A.L.I. Career Builders~Workforce Development Program:
The C.A.L.I. Builders Workforce Development Program, is in partnership with various business throughout the community and the mission is to equip underserved individuals with the skills, experience and confidence they need to pursue stable, high-demand careers – leading to long-term financial independence and personal success
C.A.L.I. Connect ~ Mentorship Program:
The CALI Connect Program empowers youth and young adults through consistent, caring and valuable relationships, bridging them with caring professionals, community leaders and peers who can guide, inspire, and support their personal, academic and career journeys. By fostering these strong connections, C.A.L.I. Connect helps build confidence, develop life skills and create pathways towards long-term success and independence
